Course Description
Business Communications is the third course in the Business and Technology Pathway. As one of the most important skills for employers, students will explore the value of communication in their personal and professional life. Various forms of technologies will be used to expose students to resources, software, and applications of communications. Students will prepare for an industry certification in Microsoft Office Specialist Power Point. After successful certification in Power Point, they may also earn their credentials in Microsoft Word and Excel. The Microsoft Office Specialist Certification is the leading IT certification in the world.
Students will create an account through Edmodo and much of our class work will be posted using this website. They also have a Gmail account which has been created for school use and will also be used to submit work. Both of these websites can be accessed from home.
